La Victoire, also known in Haitian Creole as La Viktwa, is a small rural commune in Haiti’s Nord Department. It is located in the Saint-Raphaël Arrondissement, within the Upper Central Plateau and Northern Mountain Range region.
La Victoire was founded in 1848 and became a municipality in 1952. It was formerly connected to Ranquitte and was once known as David Troy, named after a Haitian military officer before being renamed La Victoire.
